What is your design process like?

Our design process begins with a free initial 15-minute consultation call where we discuss your ideas and requirements. We will then proceed in accordance with our terms of business as displayed on our website.

How long does it take to make a custom garment?

The time it takes to make a custom garment varies depending on the complexity of the design and the current work flow of orders. We will communicate with you throughout the process to manage time expectations. 

What kind of fabrics do you use?

A variety of high-quality fabrics are used in accordance with the specific project requirements. I will communicate with you regarding what I feel suits the project best. 

Can you work with specific fabrics that I have in mind?

Yes, I can work with specific fabrics that you provide, as long as they are suitable for the design and construction of the garment.

You also welcome to bring your own fabric, however I will provide my professional opinion with regards to the choice of fabric and project. Please be mindful that the quality of fabric would determine the overall outcome of the outfit. 

Can I see samples of your work before I commit to ordering a custom garment?

Yes, I invite you to view the portfolio of our previous work as displayed on our website . Kindly refer to the catalogue reference number and we can chat about the items that particularly interest you. 

However some of our customers in the past have not wanted their photographs taken, so this is not our full portfolio! 

Do you offer alterations or only custom made designs?

We offer both alterations and custom designs to meet your specific needs.

How many fittings will be required for a custom garment?

The number of fittings required depends on the complexity of the design and the fit of the garment. We will confirm during the project regarding the required number of fittings. 

How much does a custom garment typically cost?

The cost of a custom garment varies depending on the design, fabric, and construction time. We will provide you with a detailed quote after the initial consultation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please refer to our cancellation policy in our Terms of Business as displayed on our website. 

How do you ensure that the garment fits properly?

We take detailed measurements during the initial consultation and use fitting sessions to ensure a proper fit.

Can you work with a specific style or design that I have in mind?

Yes, I can work with your specific style or design ideas to create a custom garment that meets your needs.

How far in advance do I need to order a custom garment?

It's best to order a custom garment as early as possible to ensure that I have enough time to complete the garment to your specifications. We'll chat about the time expectations at the time of the initial consultation.

Do you offer rush orders?

Yes, we offer rush orders at an additional cost. 

How do you take measurements?

For in person consultations, I take detailed measurements of your body using a tape measure, and for online consultations I will guide you via video call as to how to take your measurements. 

Can you work with clients remotely?

Yes, we can work with clients remotely via email, phone, or video conferencing.

How do I care for my custom garment?

I'll provide you with care instructions for your custom garment, which will depend on the type of fabric and construction.

Can you make adjustments to a garment after it has been completed?

Yes, we can make adjustments to a garment after it has been completed for an additional cost.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the finished product?

I strive to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their custom garment. If you are not satisfied, please contact me at your earliest opportunity so we can discuss potential solutions.

Do you offer a warranty or guarantee on your work?

Yes, I guarantee the quality of my work and will work with you to resolve any issues that arise.
